Can't See the Pot for the Trees

But you can definitely detect the ”run off” involved in farming marijuana once it gets in the water…

At least you can in the case of discovering two major plantations just south and up the hill from me about five miles away.

I would like to point out that we would all be in much better mood down here if they would burn the stash.

…Unfortunately I have it on good authority from a falconer who does abatement at a landfill, that the dump is usually where millions of dollars worth of the green stuff like this confiscation end up. So much for a fun weekend.

And who knew that the hills next to my house are just like those where they grow marijuana in Mexico!  Could we compromise and at least plant more agave up there…?

  1. The Forest Service can’t keep developed recreational sites open, but they can pay for unmanned aerial drones. Love it.

Still, I would be mellower about cannabis-growing if the growers themselves did not pose a hazard to other forest users, what with their guns, booby-traps, etc.

I was trying not to think about the aerial drones. The whole idea of those freaks me out more than a little… And I’m glad I didn’t stumble upon Rancho Marijuana for sure! Good reason to turn up missing.
