And for what it’s worth… I really enjoyed reading Lift, but of course, I’m a falconer. My wife, on the other hand (who is not a falconer) LOVED reading it.

For obvious reasons, I couldn’t resist stopping by your site when I saw that you are into falconry. Lotsa nifty pictures and lore.

One of the reasons I kept my maiden name when I married Jon Newhall was that Falconer is such a cool name, who would want to give it up?

It was only last year that I caught up with your blog, and last night finished the “Rise” collection, which teased me and left me intrigued and hopeful to read “Wilder,” maybe this year? As for getting it all done, with a wife, kids, a full-time job and hobbies I never seem to have enough time for, it’s wonder anything else gets done at all.
